As you may or may not know Tim Webb, who runs discchord.com and AppKaiju.com, had an especially bad 2021. This led to discchord being mostly dormant since last June. From the very early audio app days, discchord.com has been a pillar in the music app space, bringing us all the latest app news and info on sales. I for one miss reading articles, watching videos, and learning from Tim as part of my daily routine.
In my humble opinion, Tim Webb is a Grade A Human Being who works very hard at what he does and does not deserve the cruel hand that he has been dealt. It was terrible in August of 2018 when my beloved Apple killed the Affiliate Program which had been paying small sales commissions to YouTubers and bloggers such as Tim Webb, Doug Woods, Jakob Haq, and Jason Donnelly. This chopped our whole tiny, already low money sector off at the knees and basically de-incentived these creators from covering our apps. Ending the Affiliate Program hit Tim Webb particularly badly because at the time he had already been working for over a year on AppKaiju, which tracks app price histories, and was just months from launching it. AppKaiju's primary income stream for Tim - Affiliate Program commissions - evaporated in a heartbeat. Being the trooper that he is, Tim proceeded to finish and launch AppKaiju knowing full well that it would be stillborn. Killing the Affiliate Program also hurt me - auDSPr - because at the time I was just months away from releasing my first audio app, auGEN X, on which I had already worked a long, long time.
Making even a modest living in the audio app ecosystem is extremely difficult. As an audio app developer myself, I have struggled with surviving in this business, and if I'm honest with myself, thus far my audio app developer journey has been more of a very expensive hobby than an actual business. But I continue to do it for the love of the art form, for the love of music and sound, and the magical technology of audio apps. I'm sure Tim does it for similar reasons.

Buy our audio apps, give them 5-star ratings, and write positive reviews. At the very least, by doing this you know that you're doing your part to offset the haters and trolls. It's good for everyone, and it's good for your soul. These sweet audio apps really don't cost much.
